Sweet pies are where Singapore’s pie scene has changed most in the past decade. A generation ago, a dessert pie meant a bakery banana pie or a slice of apple. Today there are bakeries devoted to whole pecan, meringue and fruit pies, and cafes inventing flavours like honey chrysanthemum. This guide covers all of it, apple pie aside; that has its own guide. Pecan pie

Pecan pie is a Southern American pie of whole pecans set in a rich caramel custard. The best versions are not tooth-achingly sweet and have a crisp base under the filling. In Singapore, Windowsill’s classic pecan is the reference, at $77 and up for a whole pie as of October 2026. Its FAQ suggests pecan can be gently warmed before serving.

Banana pie and banana cream pie

Singapore has two banana pie traditions. The Katong banana pie is a small, inexpensive pie sold by the piece at Dona Manis and Auntie Peng, a long-standing east-side bakery snack. The American banana cream pie, as at Wheathead, layers banana with custard and cream in a pastry case and is served by the slice. Windowsill’s banana almond brittle pie sits between the two as a whole celebration pie.

Meringue and citrus pies

Lemon meringue and its relatives are a good choice for anyone who finds pecan too rich. Windowsill makes a strawberry lemon meringue; Elijah makes a yuzu meringue. Key lime pie, the Florida custard pie on a graham cracker base, turns up on American-style cafe menus, but we could not confirm a current one with a price.

Pumpkin, durian and other gaps

Simply Good Pies has listed a pumpkin pie among its British and American range; confirm availability before ordering. Despite Singapore’s love of durian, we found no dedicated durian pie we could verify, only durian cakes and pastries. Chalk Farm has been listed for a lemon meringue pie, but its line is mainly cakes and we could not confirm a current pie.

Ordering and serving sweet pies

• Keep cream and custard pies cold. In Singapore’s heat, do not leave them out for more than two hours. Windowsill suggests eating its pies chilled or at room temperature within three days of refrigeration.
• Order whole pies early. Three days is a common minimum; Christmas needs more. Don Pie Shop’s buying notes on fruit and sweet pies cover lead times and boxing in more detail.
• Slices for one, whole pies for six or more. A whole sweet pie usually cuts into eight to ten slices, which makes per-slice cost similar to a cafe slice.

Windowsill Pies sells a classic pecan pie whole, from $77 as of October 2026, with islandwide delivery ($20, free above $150) and at least three days' notice. It is the most consistently recommended pecan pie in Singapore food guides.

Where can I buy banana pie in Katong?

Dona Manis at 95 East Coast Road sells original and chocolate banana pies for $4.50, and Auntie Peng at Katong Shopping Centre sells banana pies for $3.30, both as of October 2026. Auntie Peng also has a counter at Century Square in Tampines.

Where can I get key lime pie in Singapore?

Key lime pie appears on American-style cafe menus; Yardbird and PS.Cafe have both been listed for American pies in past guides. We could not confirm a current key lime pie with a price, so check the dessert menu before you go.

Is there a durian pie in Singapore?

We found durian cakes and pastries from durian specialists but no dedicated durian pie we could confirm. If you see one, check whether it is a pie or a tart; the two are often confused on menus.

How far ahead should I order a whole sweet pie?
